Bio of Jed FIELDING

Jed Fielding was born in Boston in 1953. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, where he studied with Aaron Siskind and Harry Callahan, and his Master of Fine Arts degree from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. He has photographed extensively in Mexico, Peru, Greece, Egypt, Spain, the United States, and Italy, and has been photographing in Naples for 25 years. Jed Fielding's photographs have been widely collected and exhibited, and are represented in private and public collections, including The Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; The Art Institute of Chicago; the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts; The Museum of Contemporary Photography, Columbia College Chicago; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the International Center of Photography, New York; and The Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona, Tucson. Mr. Fielding lives and works in Chicago.
